Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our retail operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining processes, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the entire retail operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Optimization:
    • Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement and streamline efficient workflows to enhance productivity.
  2. Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory control, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
    • Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain optimal stock levels.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage the operations team.
    • Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure product integrity.
    • Develop and maintain procedures for product returns and exchanges.
  5. Facility Management:
    • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and security of the retail space.
    • Coordinate maintenance activities and liaise with external vendors.
  6. Cost Control:
    • Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Work with the finance team to develop and manage the operations budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in retail operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
